You are the researcher. Sit with one participant at a time — someone from outside this class. Aim for 3–4 participants in total. Each participant gets their own run of this tool, their own download.
This is an open sort. The participant creates and names their own groups.
The participant taps once to pick up a card, then taps a group to drop it. No holding or dragging. Encourage them to think aloud as they sort. After they finish, write down what they said in the notes box at the bottom.
Do not lead them. Your job is to listen, not to teach.
Step 1 — Enter the ANU navigation items you audited
Paste or type the 30–40 content items you identified from the ANU website navigation, one per line. Use the same list for every participant you run, so the data is comparable. You can edit the list later, but resetting it clears the current sort.
